Lower Mainland BC
M’akola Housing Society expanded to the Lower Mainland region in 2025. M’akola has a high-rise apartment in Vancouver that provides safe, affordable housing for individuals, couples, Elders, and families. New housing is in development.
Our Housing
Each home has eligibility criteria including household size, income, and family ancestry. In the Lower Mainland M’akola owns and operates M’akola Rent Geared to Income (MRGI) and M’akola Low End of Market (MLEM) homes.
Homes in the Lower Mainland do not require applicants to identify as Indigenous, but as an Indigenous housing provider, preference is given to Indigenous applicants. To learn more about what housing you may be eligible for visit our applicants page.
