Affordable Housing For Indigenous Families
M’akola Housing Society is the largest Indigenous affordable housing provider in British Columbia, serving more than 5,000 family members and managing more than 2000 homes in communities across the province. We offer family housing in townhouse complexes, apartment buildings and single-family dwellings. M’akola also offers housing geared to singles and couples and has two assisted living facilities for our Elders and seniors.
The majority of our housing is located off-reserve in urban centres.
We have expanded into rural areas and on-reserve through partnerships with First Nations.
